Countdown: My Top 2016

I'm counting down for the end of this abysmal year!

In an effort to remind myself that 2016 wasn't 100% terrible, here is a list of my personal best moments from 2016. I'm not going to lie, when I sat down to think about it, most of them are my nephew, no regrets...

1. My first nephew being born - our little peanut was born on July 8, 2016

2. Finishing my first book

This year I participated in NaNoWriMo and even though I didn't hit the 50k goal (and was just shy of my 40k goal) I still finished the overall shell of my book and that's big for me. It felt great to just sit down and knock the writing out. Even on days where I tried to convince myself I was too uninspired, when it came down to it, I wrote.

3. Harry Potter Festival 2016 in Philadelphia, PA

4. Moving and making my very own Rainbow Shelf!

5. Making some friends on Bookstagram!

This year I got my first subscription boxes, NerdyPost launched, and I got to befriend some of the coolest people I know on instagram!
