I'm not sure how I feel about this series. It came very highly recommended from some friends and a co-worker loaned me her set so I could check it out. The concept is certainly interesting: What if Dorothy was a tyrant terrorizing Oz with her minions, the scarecrow, lion, and tinman?

I think part of my issue with the series is that it can be slow moving at times and I don't find Amy to be particularly compelling as a heroine. I fully intend to finish the series because there is a level of creativity and love of classic literature that shows throughout it.
