Summer TBR and Book Bans

I've mentioned this before but next year I'll be leaping from 2nd grade to 5th grade. In preparation for this jump I am taking a few education classes including one that provides with with credits for preparing for my school year. I'm excited about using this time to set up my new classroom but I'm ESPECIALLY excited for the other part: reading! I have to read books that (a) 5th graders are required to read throughout the year and (b) 5th graders enjoy reading in their own time.
I've borrowed some books from the school and visited the local used bookstore to find some good stuff. I've got a lot of books to read this summer from my running TBR as well as the young adult reads. This is exciting to me but it also means I need to cool it on the book buying.
Here's my pledge -- I will not buy any books this summer with these exceptions: Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, This Savage Song, and Furthermore. I have to make these exceptions because I know I'll buy them anyway and I don't want to use that as an excuse to completely break my ban.
