642 Tiny Things to Write About

Banned Books Socks

Quill Pen

Literary Pins

The Serpent King by Jeff Zentner

Letter from the author

The writing prompt book is adorable and is filled with some genuinely useful stuff (especially for authors who are trying to practice writing something every single day). I also love the literary pins courtesy of @bookwormboutique because I adore the quotes on them! I just wish I actually had something I cared to pin them to, rather than keeping them around for photoshoots. (they don't exactly pin well to a leather work bag)

My favorites: the banned book socks courtesy of @outofprint are SO adorable! They're comfortable and creative and I'm completely obsessed with them. I just carry them around like a weirdo showing them off to people! I also ADORE the quill pen. This pen is courtesy of kikkerland. OwlCrate shipped out both black and white ones and I would've been happy with either. It writes beautifully and makes me feel particularly badass. I do have to caution you to keep the cap on when it's not in use. The cap doesn't look pretty, but you don't want your awesome quill pen drying out.

The book: I haven't read it yet. More to come in a separate review when I've actually read the book. I did love getting a letter from the author. OwlCrate made me feel closer to the author and other book lovers.

I highly recommend at least trying this out. It's a lot of fun and the value of the items in the box is way more than the price of a subscription. This is also a more affordable box than most.
