As a year in review, I'm posting a list of the books I've read this year. My goal was to complete the book challenge of reading 50 books in a year. In addition to that I was working on the 2015 book challenge, which was inteneded to encourage me to branch out a bit in my books. I don't think that I'll repeat the 50 book challenge next year because it simply added a level of stress to my pleasure-reading without any real substance. I've read well over 50 books if you count the constant reading I do for my students, but I didn't count that and fell short of my goal by 2 books. I won't let it get me down!
I noticed some trends in this year's books as opposed to past years. This is, I think, due to the fact that I've been able to access more books I wouldn't necessarily buy through the use of the public library's ebooks.
In 2015 I read 4 books of short stories. My books also tended heavily toward young adult. I also read all of my romance novels in January and December. Interesting...
