This is my first post from my new apartment! Sorry for the long delay, but starting a new job and moving at the same time is enough to distract anyone. I write to you now from my couch where I am admiring my books. We've been apart for so long.

I am still working on organizing and setting up my shelves, but this has been an interesting process so far. By that, I mean that I have finally realized that I have a problem. Is there a such thing as too many books? There might be.. but no matter, I will continue to add to my collection because that's just what I do. Since I haven't cooked anything since moving in and I will simply take you on a tour of some of my shelves... follow me..

My books spent 15 months living like this. It is a tragedy:

So I unpacked, organized, and set them up over and over until I felt like they were happy with their neighbors..

After completing my "geek" shelf, I moved on to my more historical, non-fiction bookshelf..

Which is still a work-in-progress because my collection of british history books is too large for the shelf.

The "fiction" shelf still consists of piles of books, but rest assured, you'll be seeing it soon.

Until then, I'm off to build a bed. Good night!
