"Love is deed, not fine phrases" - Puerto Rican Proverb

As a home cook and amateur food blogger (sometimes) I felt that I needed to do a post solely devoted to the food we devoured in Puerto Rico, so here it is:

Steak Mofongo (mashed, cooked plantain formed into a hollow bowl filled with tender steak and topped with a garlic sauce) @ Punto de Vista Restaurant

Seafood-stuffed Turnovers and Fried Plantains filled with Lobster and Shrimp @ La Parilla

Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict @ Caficultura

Coconut Pineapple French Toast @ Caifcultura
