I would rather own little & see the world, than own the world & see little of it.

This is my first time in Puerto Rico and all I can say is: <sigh>. This place is incredible. This was my first time going on a trip for the express purpose of relaxing by the beach and not exploring a new culture or history. I got so much more than that. San Juan, PR is a beautiful city with a tremendous balance of nature, history, beach and city.

Here is my itinerary from the trip (complete with short reviews)
Day 1:
arrive in PR
explore downtown Old San Juan (southern half)
(walk down Fortaleza St, San Francisco St, and Calle de la Princesa)
Dinner @ Punto de Vista (amazing)
Day 2:
Explore El Yunque National Rainforest
(Yokahu Tower, La Mina Falls)
Lunch in Luquillo Beach @ La Parilla (really good, kinda pricey, seafood)
Kayaking the BioBay in Fajardo (once in a lifetime experience, they also have boats for those who do not wish to kayak)
Day 3:
Fajardo Ferry to Culebra Island
Flamenco Beach
Dinner in Old San Juan @ El Jibarito (food is alright, service is sub par)
Explore Old San Juan (northern half) < see pictures above
Day 4:
Breakfast @ Caficultura (incredible food)
Castillo San Felipe del Morro (spanish fort)
Street kiosk lunch
